School of Jewellery Artist in Residence programme work by Cara Budd

The School of Jewellery Artist in Residence mentoring scheme 2018 -19 is open for applications.

The AiR mentoring scheme for September 2018 to August 2019 offers space and facilities in exchange for student support one day per week. You will be given access to bench space and the School’s outstanding facilities for the duration of the residency, for which there is no charge. It is expected that are you are able to commit to at least 2 – 3 days a week and agree to a common meeting day at least once a month

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop new work and technical skills in a creative environment through collaboration with the Artist in Residence team. You will also have the chance to exhibit your work at the Vittoria Street Gallery in the School of Jewellery and engage with the rich and vibrant community at the School.

*Please note that overseas applicants are responsible for ensuring they have an independent visa in place to cover the academic year. The University cannot enter into any dialogue concerning UK visas and immigration in respect to any visa application.
