Impact and Knowledge Exchange – new resource

IMG_7796x.jpgFor research staff and students we now have a new resource to provide advice, guidance and tools for research knowledge exchange and impact. The materials were created by Mark Reed of Birmingham School of the Built Environment, who last year held a series of workshops on the subject with further workshops to be held later in the year (May/June, more details to follow).

The resource includes a series of worksheets and tools to help staff and students think about impact in their research. It includes the five principles for knowledge exchange, which are:

  1. Design
  2. Represent
  3. Engage
  4. Impact
  5. Reflect and Sustain

The Worksheets section is also handy, it includes tips and tools to help you build an effective social media strategy for your research.

Access the resource through iCity here.
