What did you study at University?
I studied for my degree in BA (Hons) Fashion and Textiles at Ravensbourne in London. I decided to take the plunge and start my own fashion brand when I graduated as it is something I had always wanted to do. This was a great success and I took it to a fashion boutique on central London Carnaby Street, and with concessions in Topshop and Debenhams.
I am currently undertaking an MA in Visual Communication at BCU, this is a great opportunity to extend my knowledge and add to my skill set. I am specialising in brand experience and just undertook a brand audit project for Francesco, the hairdressing group.

What did you study at University?
I did my degree in BA (Hons) Fashion Retail Buying. I graduated just as the recession hit the UK when the job market was struggling,  so I moved to New York for 7 months to pursue an Internship to differentiate my experience from my peers.
I then enrolled on an MA in Fashion & Textiles (part-time)  a year later. As my study was part-time, I was able to spend 6 months working for a Trend Forecasting company in Paris. I then achieved a Distinction in my MA (showing off now!). Continue Reading

It also gives me a great understanding of being both a student and lecturer on the course, which really helps me engage with our students, as I can literally say I was once in their shoes.
