Seacole Library closed: Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2017

On the weekend of 10th and 11th June 2017, Seacole Building, including the library, will be closed to all staff and students on those days to enable water supplies to the building to be turned off for the installation of new meters. The building will be open as usual from Monday 12th June 2017.

During this time staff and students can use the library facilities at Curzon and Kenrick. For their opening hours check libcal.bcu.ac.uk

Disruption to Library and IT services

The University will be undertaking critical network upgrades over the weekend of 2nd-3rd April 2016.  This will affect:

  • All access to all IT services (iCity, Moodle, BCU network)
  • Library e-resources
  • Library self-service

You should expect that these services will be unavailable on Saturday 2nd April. It is anticipated that work will finish by 4pm on Saturday, however there may also be disruption on Sunday 3rd April.

ScienceDirect down for maintenance at the weekend.

Elsevier tell us that ScienceDirect Freedom Collection will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance from Saturday, July 20 at 12:00 midnight until Saturday, July 20 at 12:30 am BST.

Resolved: Problems accessing Oxford Music and Art Online off campus

We have put a different route in place to access these services which should have resolved the problem , please let us know if you  still can’t login.

We have become aware of intermittent problems accessing Oxford Music and Oxford Art online services from off-campus.

We apologize for the lack of service,and are currently trying to find alternative routes where appropriate. As soon as this is resolved we will post here.
