The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Team within Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) at Birmingham City University are committed to supporting all its staff, students, graduates, alumni and start-up businesses in developing enterprise and entrepreneurial skills through The Concept Factory.

The Concept Factory offers a range of help and advice for those wanting to set up their own business. It has been designed to provide a space for you to develop those ideas with the added benefit of help and guidance from our mentors. Niku (Nabaneet) Dutta has done his under-graduation in Computer Science and post-graduation in MBA (Dual) - Marketing & Personnel Management. Niku creates value for companies by identifying the profit opportunities of this new age while guiding professionals through today's ever-evolving new media markets, practices and challenges. He is currently pursuing his 2nd master in Future Media Pro & Digital Communications (MSc) from Birmingham City University.
