NESTA (the UK’s National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) has just announced that they are selling their Creative Enterprise Toolkit through Amazon. I like the Toolkit and NESTA’s general approach to supporting creative individuals but I cant imagine that they will sell many.
The video promotes the Toolkit and includes a few people who have found it useful in developing their creative businesses. What they dont say, is that they probably used it on a course and that it makes much more sense when you are working with others (the facilitator and other participants). Learning is always better when you can discuss ideas and challenge each other. So if you do buy it, get together with a group of creative people looking at developing their business.
